BravoFact! short 'Becoming' - Premieres in Los Angeles and then hits Toronto at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival
Richard completed sound design for Becoming, a visually stunning short film, written, directed and produced by Ayelen Liberona and Joseph Johnson Cami. Extensive field recording and foley sessions were carried out for this piece, as the entire film was shot MOS. The entire soundscape was built from the ground up.
Featuring animations by Carlos Lascano (2005 Oscar pre-nomination), a wonderful cello based score by New York based Rubin Kodheli, and make up/effects by Colin Penman (Hulk; SAW series), it was a fantastic project to be a part of. A 6 minute version will air on Bravo!, and a longer 8 minute cut will head to the film festival circuit.
